d’Vijff Vlieghen
Restaurant d’Vijff Vlieghen occupies five adjoining 17th century houses. The restaurant has nine interconnected dining rooms, each with its own distinct style. All of them recreate the atmosphere of the Golden Age. d’Vijff Vlieghen now is leading because of its New Dutch Cuisine. The chef has based his style on Holland’s culinary traditions whilst adapting them to the tastes of today.
Ciel Bleu

Moeders
The tables are set with all kinds of different glassware, cutlery and crockery. The walls are filled with hundreds of framed and unframed pictures along with antique pans, plates and biscuit tins. Moeders is characterized by an informal atmosphere and friendly service. Moeders is known for several Dutch specialities (hachée, suddervlees and stamppot). And for those who don’t want to enjoy all of this, there are plenty of other things to choose from the extensive, international menu.
The IJ-kantine
The IJ-kantine is a cheerful and contemporary styled brasserie, located on the harbor in Amsterdam North NDSM. Wake up every day starting at 9.00 am with a cup of coffee and breakfast. Later in the day, delicious lunches and dinners are served traditionally prepared. Located on the two mezzanines including the lounge with fireplace.
Brasserie FLO Amsterdam
Enjoy the French cuisine at Brasserie FLO Amsterdam. The restaurant is famous for its fruit de mer buffet and classic French menu. Oysters, lobster and langoustines but also escargots, steak tartare and crème brûlée are always in the menu. Needless to say all dishes are accompanied by great wines. Brasserie FLO Amsterdam is opened daily for dinner and from Monday to Friday for lunch as well.
Fifteen
Fifteen Amsterdam is a Dutch restaurant based on the successful concept of Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen in London. Every year fifteen young people with limited future prospects are chosen and trained to become chefs. This huge restaurant (200 seats) is set up in a former warehouse and serves modern Mediterranean dishes. Fifteen has an à la carte menu with lovely dishes such as antipasti, homemade pastas and great desserts.
The Culinaire Werkplaats
A novel eating initiative & experience located opposite Amsterdam’s culture park Westergasfabriek. It’s a blend of a design studio, a workshop, a restaurant, a cooking studio, a bakery, a gallery and some other ’secret’ ingredients. They create contemporary dishes, snacks, bites, delicatessen, new foods and sometimes even new ways of eating.
Restaurant De Koekfabriek
De Koekfabriek is a café-restaurant located in the former Verkade cookie factory. The restaurant is situated along the river Zaan, close to Zaandam’s centre. The cuisine is South European / North African.
Theetuin Overleek
Theetuin Overleek (tea garden) welcomes you to a beautiful rural area with delicious homemade cakes. Discover the nature reserve of Waterland with its monumental villages with wooden houses by silent electric motorboats or canoes which can be hired at the spot. You can choose to take a picknick on the boat or afterwards use lunch in the garden with a beautiful view. They also serve homemade high tea. An ideal daytrip only 10 km north of Amsterdam.
